School Uniform Update

A revision has been made to the school uniform policy. Students in Pre-K through Second grade are exempt from wearing belts.

Also, the Vogue on Main Street has school uniforms, including some very cute styles for girls and they are pretty reasonably priced. Wal-mart has a few selections that are suitable for uniforms, but the smaller sizes are hard to locate. Stage has a full selection in all sizes.

Walmart.com has a good selection of uniform pieces for little boys and they have free shipping if you use the site-to-store option. As I find more stores with uniform pieces, I will keep you updated.

Here are the school supply lists for the elementary schools for the 2008-2009 school year (click on the image for bigger size).

School Uniforms

As you all probably know, the Elk City school system is moving to a uniform dress code for the upcoming 2008-2009 school year. Here's the dress code, from the Board of Education, that will need to be followed (click on image for full size):



Stage has already started selling the uniforms, and some suitable pieces can be found at Wal-mart as well (though they don't have near the selection that Stage has).
